Integrating Polystyle Into Dreamweaver CS3
Add Polystyle to the Windows PATH environment variable
- Click Start -> Control Panel -> System -> Advanced -> Environment Variables
- Scroll to the Path variable and click Edit
- Assuming you installed Polystyle in C:\Program Files\Polystyle add:
...to the start of the Path variable's value.
- Test that you can run Polystyle on the command line. Click the Start button,
click Run. Enter command in the dropdown and click OK.
At the prompt, type:
Install an extension that will invoke Polystyle
- Save polystyle-dreamweaver-mx-integration.zip to your hard drive.
- Assuming you installed Dreamwaver in
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Dreamweaver CS3,
unzip the file you downloaded into C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Dreamweaver CS3\configuration\Objects\Common.
- If you have Dreamweaver open, close it and restart it.
You may now invoke Polystyle as follows
- By clicking the Polystyle "PS" icon in the Common toolbar.
